Privacy Policy

How WIKI-MINE collects, stores and processes your data, your rights under GDPR/CCPA, and how to exercise them.

Data we collect directly

  • Anonymous analytics: page views, referrers, viewport size, chosen language. Not linked to identity.
  • Comment authorship: display name and optional e-mail (only if you want notifications on replies).
  • Author account: login, e-mail, password hash — if you registered as an editor or contributor.

Third-party services running on the site

  • Google AdSense — contextual ads. AdSense may set cookies and collect anonymised signals to measure impressions and serve ads. See policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymised visit statistics. Runs only with your consent (Consent Mode v2). Disable via the cookie controls in the site footer.
  • Microsoft Clarity — anonymous heatmaps and session replays for UX. PII is auto-masked. See clarity.microsoft.com/terms.
  • Cloudflare — CDN and DDoS protection. Sees request IPs at the infrastructure layer; does not store content.

What we do not do

  • We do not sell personal data.
  • We do not use third-party fingerprinting or cross-site tracking of logged-out visitors.
  • We do not share comment content with third parties except for mandatory legal requests.

Cookies and consent

Analytics and ads load only after your consent (Google Consent Mode v2). Manage consent via the "Cookies" link in the footer. Details in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

Under GDPR (EU) / CCPA / 152-FZ (RU) / RODO (PL) / Ukraine's Personal Data Protection Act you have the right to:

  • request a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data;
  • ask us to delete your account and related data;
  • withdraw previously granted consent for analytics or ads.

Retention

Account data is kept while the account is active. Comments remain while the page they were posted on exists, or until you request deletion. Cloudflare and application logs are kept for 30 days.
